Grønnebro is centrally located next to Hvidovre Station, close to Hvidovre town center, at the corner of Hvidovrevej and Kløverprisvej. With its distinctive architecture and attractive location, Grønnebro will become a natural meeting place in Hvidovre - a destination where homes, businesses, and green communal spaces come together in a vibrant environment that welcomes both residents and the wider community.

A New Urban District with Respect for Its Context

The project has been developed with careful consideration of the area's unique character and local architectural features. The design ensures that the development integrates naturally into its surroundings while establishing itself as a new and contemporary urban district.

To the west, the building volumes step down harmoniously towards the adjacent residential neighborhood, while the prominent tower to the east creates a distinctive landmark at the station. The buildings enclose a green and tranquil courtyard, shielding it from the noise of the city. Through openings, sightlines, and pedestrian connections, visitors are invited into a new green urban space - the natural heart of the neighborhood - where nature is brought close to everyday life.

To ensure high-quality daylight conditions and spatial comfort, the upper floors are set back from the brick facades. This creates generous balconies and reduces the perceived height of the buildings facing the courtyard, resulting in an open and welcoming atmosphere.

With classic brick façades, lightweight upper levels in steel, and carefully proportioned detailing, the development presents a contemporary and distinctive architectural expression. The restrained colour palette creates a harmonious relationship between the buildings, while the ground floors are articulated through patterned brickwork and prominent entrances that enhance both identity and a sense of safety.

Neighbourhood Communities

Grønnebro offers bright and spacious rental and owner-occupied homes, ranging from two- to four-bedroom apartments to townhouses. The homes are designed to accommodate singles, families, seniors, and blended families alike, with a strong focus on flexibility, comfort, and community.

At ground level, a grocery store and smaller commercial spaces will be complemented by front gardens that create an active and vibrant edge towards the public realm. Vehicle traffic is accommodated in an underground parking garage, allowing the courtyards to remain car-free, green, and people-oriented - with ample space for relaxation, play, and strong neighbourly connections.
