Scan Global Logistics Nordic HQ
A headquarters that brings a global culture together in one flexible and future-ready environment
A thoughtful transformation
In Hvidovre, Scan Global Logistics has established a new Nordic headquarters, where an existing building has been transformed and expanded into a unified environment for offices and warehousing. The decision to transform rather than build anew reflects a resource-conscious approach and a commitment to rethinking existing assets instead of starting from scratch.
The project was driven by a clear need for additional space, an improved indoor climate, and greater flexibility. The new headquarters provides a robust framework for both employee well-being and future growth, supporting diverse ways of working, enhanced environmental quality, and direct access to outdoor spaces.

Designed for People
Through a close and collaborative process, Scan Global Logistics’ vision and employees’ needs were translated into tangible architectural solutions. The workplace is organized into clusters comprising workstations, quiet rooms, meeting spaces, and social areas. This ensures proximity to key functions while balancing focused work, collaboration, and community.
The result is a workplace that enhances well-being, belonging, and productivity across the entire organization.
In collaboration with AART, we gained valuable, evidence-based insights into key aspects such as proximity, networks, and communities. These insights were instrumental in enabling us to make informed decisions that support both our employees’ needs and our strategic vision for the workplace of the future.Thomas Nørgaard, Executive Management, Scan Global Logistics
A Home for Growth
The headquarters brings together functionality, identity, and brand. Its architecture supports everyday operations while creating a clear and authentic experience for clients and partners - one where values such as integrity, transparency, and respect are reflected in both the physical environment and the organizational culture.
AART managed the entire process — from needs analysis using the Effect Compass, programming, and tenant dialogue to detailed interior design, colour strategy, technical design, and procurement of furniture and lighting. The collaboration was both inspiring and highly rewardingAllan Melgaard, Global CEO, Scan Global Logistics
