VUC Syd receives The German design award 2015

27.10.2014 / The new education centre for VUC Syd in Haderslev, Denmark, is among the winners of the German Design Award 2015, awarded by the German Design Council. With the award, the German Design Council honours projects and products that uniquely contribute to the international architecture and design landscape.

”The aim of the German Design Award is to identify, present and honour unique design trends, a competition that advances the design scene. These premium international prizes will go to top quality projects and products, all of which are pioneering in the German and international design landscape,” the German Design Council highlights.
The education centre has received the jury’s “special mention” in the ”architecture and urban space” category. However, the German Design Award is not just in the hands of a highly acknowledged jury of experts. It also includes the Public's Choice Award, where design and architecture enthusiasts from around the world have the opportunity to vote for their favourite project. And at the award ceremony, which will be in Frankfurt in February 2015, it will be announced whether the education centre has also received this Public's Choice Award 2015.
