Swedish school with historical roots

05.02.2015 / The Victoria School: this will be the name of the 9,400 m2 public school that we are planning in Skara, Sweden. The name, which has been chosen by a unanimous city council, has strong local roots, as it refers to the history and geography of the Swedish city.

The city has a tradition of naming its schools with girl names. In addition, the name Victoria refers to the history and geography, as both Lake Victoria with its recreational areas and the historical Victoria farm are neighbours of the school.

The construction of the Victoria School is expected to begin this summer and be completed in the summer of 2017.
