Norwegian Wood is a great sales success

Sales at Norwegian Wood located at the seafront of Stavanger in Norway have been so strong that the developer Kruse Smith has opened the second construction phase for sales. In the first construction phase the freehold flats sold for impressive NOK 100 million in just a few days and the same is true for the second phase where 15 flats were sold in just one hour.

“We are pleased to have designed a popular and very saleable residential project. By using solid wood and structuring Norwegian Wood as a coherent row of blocks connected by dramatic passageways, we have created a distinctive building complex that takes advantage of the magnificent sea view and creates recreational spaces at the seafront,” Torben Skovbjerg, partner in AART architects, explains.

Norwegian Wood is designed in collaboration with Studio Ludo and is the winning proposal in an international architecture competition. The first sod will be cut this spring and the building complex is exptected to be finished within three years.
