Latest projects on the drawing board

27.05.2013 / AART architects has been pre-qualified for six healthcare competitions. The six competitions cover a wide array of projects, from the rethinking of historic healthcare architecture to the development of a new psychiatric hospital and a new healthcare college.
 
Together with Sweco AB, we have been pre-qualified to compete for the 24,000 sqm USÖ Högspecialitetshuset in Örebro, Sweden. The goal of this project is to create synergies among a wide range of therapies and medical specialties.
 
Together with MOE Consulting Engineers, we have also been pre-qualified to compete for a multi-purpose healthcare centre in Copenhagen, Denmark. The competition's aim is to rethink the Deaconess Foundation’s historic buildings and to create a future-oriented healthcare centre that exudes energy and promotes a positive working environment for the employees.
 
As part of the consortium of Sjælsø Denmark Ltd., we have been pre-qualified to compete for the new 51,000 sqm psychiatric hospital at the New University Hospital in Aarhus, Denmark. Furthermore, in Aarhus, we have also been pre-qualified to compete for an 11,000 sqm healthcare college. For this particular competition, we have teamed up with Dansk Boligbyg, Archinet and Søren Jensen Consulting Engineers.
 
Finally, we have been pre-qualified to compete for the new shared emergency department in Esbjerg, Denmark, and the rebuilding of Nykøbing Falster Hospital, Denmark. In both competitions we have teamed up with Midtconsult and Sweco.
