The first DGNB certified school in Denmark

04.05.2017 / With the extension of the School at Duevej in Frederiksberg, Denmark, we set new standards for a sustainable school building. When the 1,150 square meter extension will be completed this summer, the School at Duevej will stand out as the first DGNB certified school in Denmark with sustainable qualities across all areas – ranging from the environment and humanities to economics, technology and process-related subjects.

"Together with Frederiksberg Municipality and our dedicated team of business partners, we have created a school built according to all sustainable principles. A school that will benefit the pupils, the local community and the future operating of the school. With the DGNB certification, we do more than just strengthen the wellbeing of the pupils. We also provide new perspectives on how to transform the school into a green asset for the local community and have made it cheaper to operate than traditional school buildings," says Rasmus Højkjær Larsen, associate partner and head of our department in Copenhagen.
