Education centre competes for German design award

20.06.2014 / The new education centre for VUC Syd in Haderslev, Denmark, is in the running to receive The German Design Award 2015, which honours projects that, above all, demonstrate pioneering contributions to the international design landscape.

The education centre has been shortlisted for the category "Architecture and Urban Space". As a shortlisted project, the education centre is also competing for the Public’s Choice Award, which is selected by design enthusiasts, while the German Design Award is selected by a highly esteemed jury of experts.

”The aim of the German Design Award is to identify, present and honour unique design trends. It’s a competition that advances the design scene,” the German Design Council highlights.

The winners of the German Design Award and the Public’s Choice Award will be announced in September.
