We have been awarded the third prize in the international project competition for a new concert hall in Norway.
We have been awarded the third prize in the open international competition for a new library and blues concert hall in Notodden, Norway. 73 proposals from 15 countries participated in the competition.
Our proposal, titled River Blues, is created as a visionary icon of Notodden’s transformation from industrial city to cultural centre and is an example of how we by participating in open international competitions continuously try to develop our professional skills.
Open international competitions have a high level of ambition and freedom which strengthens our architectural creativity, and during the past years we have won or been awarded honourable awards in more than half of the competitions we have participated in. Among these The Culture Yard in Elsinore, which we won in a similar competition in 2006.
