AART meets the urban challenges in Venice

Together with colleagues from around the world we celebrated the opening of the 12th International Architecture Exhibition titled “People Meet in Architecture”.

On the 29th of August we participated in the opening of the 12th International Architecture Exhibition titled “People Meet in Architecture” and met with the Culture Minister of Denmark Per Stig Møller to discuss how we as a global society can develop architectural, flexible solutions to meet the urban challenges of the future.

The Culture Minister expressed great interest in Bikuben Student Residence, which is our contribution to the Danish pavilion titled “Q&A: Urban Questions _ Copenhagen Answers” and studies how architecture affects social relations and hereby will be able to optimise students’ social network and life quality in general.

The International Architecture Exhibition in Venice is the world’s most prestigious architecture exhibition and showcases 54 national pavilions and some of the world’s leading studios. In addition to participating in the opening we also went on a study tour to Venice, where we studied the unique architecture of the city and visited the many inspirational pavilions of the exhibition, since we regard study tours as a natural part of our continuous professional development.
