AART architects meets Danish minister

On January 9, Torben Skovbjerg, partner in AART architects, met the Minister for Trade and Investment to discuss Danish architects’ international challenges and opportunities.

With projects in Europe, Australia, Africa and the Middle East, we are experiencing great international success. On January 9, Torben Skovbjerg, partner in AART architects, therefore met the Minister for Trade and Investment to discuss Danish architects’ international challenges and opportunities.

Selected members of the Danish Association of Architectural Firms were invited to present and discuss proposals on how Danish architects can gain a strong international foothold. The minister promised to pass on the proposals and emphasised that the world needs Danish architects who are recognized for responding to global challenges and creating highly sustainable solutions.

The meeting with the minister reflects our international business focus. With strong skills in socially sustainable and energy-efficient architecture, we are experiencing great success in Scandinavia and are engaged in projects across the world. For instance, we are planning Campus Park Skara in Sweden, are participating in the competition for a teaching hospital in Tanzania, and are engaged in several major building projects in Oman.
